It has become a routine since then, in order to ditch the harsh conditions of dehydration and abuse of my body.
Thanks to Ice for finding my tiny veins, smoothly and painlessly!

As a parent, ensuring my son was in good hands is number one priority. Livelydrops reliable and safe mobile service is incredibly important, has exceeded all expectations. The process was seamless, the plan options were clear and flexible, and Maggie answered any questions I had.
I especially appreciate how Maggie texted a few hours later to check in on my son. It’s rare to find a company that combines quality service with such a personal touch.
Thank you for making this experience stress-free and enjoyable. I will gladly recommend Livelydrops Mobile to other parents and families who value outstanding service and reliability.

Maggie was the consummate professional. She was organized and friendly, making me instantly feel at ease even though I’m not the biggest fan of needles.
As a former professional athlete and someone who still trains at a very high level, Maggie recommended the Super Immunity, and it was exactly what I needed to get back to feeling energized and strong! She was clean, efficient, and most importantly her IV worked phenomenally! I can’t recommend her highly enough and look forward to my next IV!

From the moment I contacted Lively Drop, Maggie was incredibly attentive. She frequently checked in on my symptoms and made sure to keep me informed about her arrival time. Her genuine concern and personalized care were truly comforting during a tough period.
When she arrived, Maggie was not only punctual and professional but also warm and friendly. She provided exceptional service and didn’t just leave after the treatment; she followed up later that day and again the next day to ensure I was on the mend. This level of dedication and follow-up is truly impressive.
Living in Carson, I’ve noticed that many service providers won’t travel beyond Gardena or the South Bay area. Maggie’s willingness to come all the way to Carson was a huge relief and a clear indication of her commitment to her clients.
I highly recommend Lively Drop Mobile Therapy for anyone in need of IV therapy. Maggie’s friendly, professional, and genuinely caring approach sets her apart, and I will definitely be using their services again in the future. If you’re looking for exceptional care and reliable service, Lively Drop Mobile Therapy is the way to go!

A muscle recovery IV drip is fluid, electrolytes and nutrients delivered after hard training, a race or a competition. It is the most requested option among the athletes we see, and the one where expectations are usually closest to reality.
Here is what recovery IV therapy does well, and where rest and food still do the heavy lifting.
Everything About the Muscle Recovery IV Drip
What Hard Training Actually Costs You
Three things, and only some of them come in a bag.
Fluid and electrolytes. A hard session in Southern California heat can cost several litres of sweat, taking sodium, magnesium and potassium with it. This is the deficit that lingers longest, because most people rehydrate with water alone and dilute what electrolytes they have left.
Muscle damage. Training creates microscopic tears. Repairing them is what makes you stronger, and it needs protein and time. Nothing intravenous substitutes for either.
Glycogen. Your stored fuel, refilled by eating carbohydrate. Also not something an IV replaces.
So an IV infusion addresses the first thoroughly, and supports the second and third without replacing them. That is a genuinely useful role. It is not the whole of recovery.
What Is in a Muscle Recovery Drip
Our Muscle Recovery option is on the drip menu, built around what training depletes:
- A litre of IV fluids with electrolytes. The core of it, and what makes the most difference to how you feel the next morning.
- Magnesium. Involved in normal muscle function and one of the minerals most reliably lost in sweat. It is the ingredient athletes associate with fewer muscle cramps.
- B vitamins. Cofactors in turning food into energy, worth replacing after a heavy block.
- Vitamin C. Antioxidant support during a period of high training load.
If you want the fuller blend, the Super Drip at $450 adds taurine and biotin. Amino acid additions vary by protocol; ask at booking rather than assuming.
Does It Reduce Muscle Soreness
Partly, and it is worth separating two things people lump together.
Some of what you call soreness after a hard session is dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Correcting that helps quickly and noticeably, and it is why people describe feeling looser the next day.
The rest is delayed onset muscle soreness, caused by the actual muscle damage that training is meant to create. That resolves as the tissue repairs, over roughly 24 to 72 hours, and no infusion shortens it. Evidence for IV therapy accelerating muscle repair itself is thin.
So expect better hydration status, less cramping, and a lower chance of feeling wrecked. Do not expect to skip the repair window. If a provider promises faster recovery in the sense of shortcutting adaptation, that is marketing.
When Athletes Book One
After a race or competition. The most common. A long ride, a marathon, a tournament weekend, a fight camp weigh-in. Large fluid deficit, and a strong reason to reverse it fast.
Mid heavy training block. When sessions are stacking up and each one starts a little more depleted than the last.
Training in heat. Summer sessions cost far more fluid than people account for.
Back to back events. Where recovery time between efforts is the limiting factor and there is no room to wait it out.
Worth saying: if you are permanently sore and flat, that is usually a sign the training load or the sleep is wrong, not that you need more drips. Fix the programme first.
Who Should Not Book One
If you have kidney disease, heart failure or a fluid restriction, speak to your own physician first. Magnesium in particular interacts with some medications and is cleared by the kidneys.
Competing under an anti-doping code is its own consideration. IV infusions above a certain volume are prohibited by WADA outside of legitimate medical treatment, regardless of what is in the bag. If you are a tested athlete, check your sport’s rules before booking anything intravenous. That is your responsibility and we would rather raise it than let you find out later.
Cramping that comes with chest pain, dark urine after extreme exertion, or severe muscle pain and weakness needs urgent medical assessment, not a recovery drip.
Why Athletes Use IV Therapies for Recovery
IV therapies reach athletic recovery through one reliable mechanism: they replenish fluid and electrolytes faster than drinking can. After a hard effort you can be litres down, and IV hydration closes that gap in under an hour rather than over a day.
That is the honest benefit of IV therapy for athletes. Getting hydration status back to optimal quickly, delivering essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream, and supporting normal muscle function while the repair happens. The best IV for this purpose is the one with the most sensible electrolyte base rather than the longest ingredient list.
What no IV treatment does is manufacture athletic performance. It will not support muscle repair beyond supplying what repair needs, and it cannot substitute for protein, sleep and sensible programming. Peak performance is built in training and recovered through rest. A recovery IV removes the dehydration sitting on top of that, which is genuinely useful and genuinely limited.
Getting the Most From a Recovery IV Therapy Session
An IV therapy session for recovery works best when it is timed and targeted rather than booked out of habit.
Timing. Post-exercise recovery is most responsive in the first few hours after a hard effort, when the fluid deficit is largest. Book for the evening of a race rather than three days later.
Targeting. A personalized IV matters more than a long ingredient list. If you experience muscle cramps, magnesium and electrolytes are the priority. If muscle fatigue and general flatness dominate, B vitamins earn their place. A customized IV built for your recovery needs beats a generic bag.
Expectations. IV therapy supports muscle recovery by removing dehydration and replacing what sweat took. That will help you bounce back faster in the sense of feeling normal sooner, and IV fluids can help reduce muscle soreness where that soreness is dehydration. It will not accelerate muscle repair itself. Claims about performance IV therapy promoting faster recovery beyond that are ahead of the evidence.
For athletes and fitness enthusiasts chasing optimal recovery, the sequence that works is unglamorous: food, sleep, then hydration therapy to close the gap. Used that way, IV therapies for athletic recovery are a genuine tool for maintaining peak performance across a hard block. Used instead of the basics, they are an expensive substitute for sleeping.

FAQS
What IV do athletes use?
Usually a hydration base with electrolytes and magnesium, sometimes with B vitamins and vitamin C. The fluid and electrolytes do most of the work; the additions are supportive.
Do IV therapy drips really work for recovery?
For rehydration and replacing electrolytes lost in sweat, yes, reliably and faster than drinking. For accelerating muscle repair itself, the evidence is weak. Expect to feel better, not to skip the repair window.
How long does it take to feel better after an IV drip?
Most people notice the hydration effect before the bag finishes, and feel the difference most the following morning.
What not to do after an IV drip?
Do not treat it as permission to skip food and sleep, which is where recovery actually happens. Keep the site clean and dry for a few hours, and go easy on alcohol, which undoes the rehydration you just paid for.
How often can I have a recovery drip?
Around heavy efforts rather than on a schedule. If you find you need one weekly just to train, the load is too high.
How long does the session take?
About 30 to 60 minutes, wherever you are. Nurses come to homes, gyms and hotels.
