It has become a routine since then, in order to ditch the harsh conditions of dehydration and abuse of my body.
Thanks to Ice for finding my tiny veins, smoothly and painlessly!

As a parent, ensuring my son was in good hands is number one priority. Livelydrops reliable and safe mobile service is incredibly important, has exceeded all expectations. The process was seamless, the plan options were clear and flexible, and Maggie answered any questions I had.
I especially appreciate how Maggie texted a few hours later to check in on my son. It’s rare to find a company that combines quality service with such a personal touch.
Thank you for making this experience stress-free and enjoyable. I will gladly recommend Livelydrops Mobile to other parents and families who value outstanding service and reliability.

Maggie was the consummate professional. She was organized and friendly, making me instantly feel at ease even though I’m not the biggest fan of needles.
As a former professional athlete and someone who still trains at a very high level, Maggie recommended the Super Immunity, and it was exactly what I needed to get back to feeling energized and strong! She was clean, efficient, and most importantly her IV worked phenomenally! I can’t recommend her highly enough and look forward to my next IV!

From the moment I contacted Lively Drop, Maggie was incredibly attentive. She frequently checked in on my symptoms and made sure to keep me informed about her arrival time. Her genuine concern and personalized care were truly comforting during a tough period.
When she arrived, Maggie was not only punctual and professional but also warm and friendly. She provided exceptional service and didn’t just leave after the treatment; she followed up later that day and again the next day to ensure I was on the mend. This level of dedication and follow-up is truly impressive.
Living in Carson, I’ve noticed that many service providers won’t travel beyond Gardena or the South Bay area. Maggie’s willingness to come all the way to Carson was a huge relief and a clear indication of her commitment to her clients.
I highly recommend Lively Drop Mobile Therapy for anyone in need of IV therapy. Maggie’s friendly, professional, and genuinely caring approach sets her apart, and I will definitely be using their services again in the future. If you’re looking for exceptional care and reliable service, Lively Drop Mobile Therapy is the way to go!

The Myers Cocktail is the oldest and best known blend in IV vitamin therapy. It is an intravenous nutrient therapy built around vitamin C and B vitamins, and almost every clinic offering IV drips has a version of it.
Here is where it came from, what is in ours, and who it genuinely suits.
Everything About the Myers Cocktail IV
Where the Myers Cocktail Came From
It is named after the late John Myers, a physician in Baltimore who spent decades through the mid twentieth century giving patients an intravenous vitamin and mineral infusion for a wide range of complaints. He never published a formula. After his death in 1984 another doctor, Alan Gaby, took on many of his patients, reconstructed what he had been using, and published a paper describing the approach and the conditions it had been used for.
That paper is why the name survives. Gaby documented use in fibromyalgia, migraine, acute muscle spasm, chronic sinusitis, upper respiratory tract infections and asthma. It is worth being precise about what that means: it is a report of clinical experience, not a body of controlled trials. The Myers Cocktail has decades of anecdotal use behind it and comparatively little rigorous evidence, and anyone telling you otherwise is overselling.
What Is in Our Myers Cocktail
Ours is $325 and contains, in one litre of fluid:
- Vitamin C. The antioxidant at the centre of the original formula, given at a higher dose than you could tolerate by mouth.
- B-complex. The group of B vitamins involved in converting food into energy, including vitamin B6.
- Vitamin B12. Separately included, and the one people most often turn out to be low in.
- Glutathione. An antioxidant the body makes naturally, added at the end of the infusion.
The classic formula as Gaby described it also included magnesium and calcium. If you want magnesium specifically, the Super Drip at $450 carries it along with taurine and biotin. Both are set out on the drip menu with pricing.
The magnesium point matters, because the warm flush people describe partway through a traditional Myers is the magnesium going in. If someone has told you to expect that, they are describing a formula with magnesium in it.
What a Myers Cocktail IV Is Good For
Realistically, it is a general nutrient and hydration infusion rather than a treatment for anything specific. The situations where people get the most from it:
Running on empty. A long stretch of poor sleep, skipped meals and stress. This is the most common reason people book vitamin IV therapy, and the combination of fluid and B vitamins is a sensible response to it.
Recovering from illness. When you have eaten badly for a week and cannot get going again.
Supporting immune function during a heavy season. Though if that is the main goal, the immunity IV drip is built for it with added zinc.
Alongside proper care for a chronic condition. Some people with migraine or fibromyalgia find infusions helpful as a supportive measure. That is a reasonable thing to try with your own physician’s knowledge. It is not a substitute for treatment, and we will not present it as one.
How It Works
An IV infusion puts nutrients directly into your bloodstream, which bypasses the digestive system entirely. That matters because oral absorption is variable and, for vitamin C in particular, capped. Higher oral doses cause stomach upset long before they raise blood levels much.
So the mechanism is straightforward: intravenous vitamin therapy delivers a high dose reliably. Whether that produces a noticeable effect depends almost entirely on whether you were short of something to begin with. If you were, you feel it. If you were not, what you mostly feel is the litre of fluid, which is still worth having on the right day.
Who Should Not Get a Myers Cocktail
The screening exists for real reasons.
If you have kidney disease, heart failure or a fluid restriction, speak to your own physician first. A litre of fluid plus a high mineral load is not trivial for someone who cannot clear it.
People with G6PD deficiency should avoid high dose vitamin C. Anyone on medications affected by magnesium levels should flag that at intake. And if you have had a reaction to any of these ingredients before, say so before booking rather than on the day.
If you are acutely unwell with chest pain, breathlessness or confusion, that is emergency care, not an infusion.
What to Expect From a Myers Cocktail IV Therapy Session
A Myers Cocktail IV therapy session is straightforward. A nurse arrives, confirms your health history, and places a small line. The infusion runs for 30 to 60 minutes while the vitamin and mineral blend is infused steadily into your bloodstream.
Some people notice a metallic taste as the vitamin C goes in, and a feeling of warmth if magnesium is included. Both are normal and both pass. If a formula is infused too quickly it can cause light-headedness, which is why the rate is controlled rather than rushed.
The effects of IV vitamin therapy are usually felt as hydration first, within the hour, and then over the following day as any shortfall is corrected. This is intravenous micronutrient therapy rather than a stimulant, so it is a steadying effect rather than a lift. For general wellness, most people who use it regularly book monthly rather than weekly. Historic use for acute muscle spasms and similar complaints came from repeated courses under a physician, which is a different context from an occasional wellness infusion.

FAQS
What is the Myers cocktail IV good for?
It is a general vitamin and mineral infusion, most often used for fatigue, recovery after illness and periods of high stress. It has been used historically for fibromyalgia, migraine and sinusitis, but the supporting evidence is clinical experience rather than controlled trials.
Who should not get a Myers cocktail?
Anyone with kidney disease, heart failure or a fluid restriction, without their physician’s approval. Also people with G6PD deficiency, because of the high dose vitamin C, and anyone who has reacted to these ingredients before.
Does the Myers cocktail really work?
For correcting a nutrient shortfall and rehydrating you, yes, reliably. As a treatment for a specific condition, the honest answer is that the evidence is thin. Most of what people feel is hydration plus the effect of no longer being deficient.
How long does it take for a Myers cocktail to kick in?
The hydration effect is usually noticeable within the hour. Any benefit from correcting a deficiency builds over the following day or two.
How long does the infusion take?
Around 30 to 60 minutes from the line going in to it coming out, plus a few minutes for screening and aftercare.
What does a Myers Cocktail IV cost?
Ours is $325, including the nurse visit, all supplies and the full litre. Pricing is confirmed before your appointment.
